Packaging materials market. Features of the modern Russian packaging equipment market. Trends in the world and Russia

It is produced in much smaller volumes compared to classic varieties, however, despite this, it is highly popular among connoisseurs of the foamy drink. The fact that this product is not subjected to other methods of additional processing allows brewers to preserve the natural taste and aroma of beer. At the same time, some experts pay attention to both the benefits and harm to the human body.

Beneficial features

The same ingredients are used for preparation as in traditional recipes. The only difference is the absence of special processing, which is why such beer contains a certain proportion of living yeast cells and suspended particles of some components. Thanks to this, the drink is characterized by a rich taste and a slightly cloudy tint, and there is sediment at the bottom. For the same reason, the shelf life does not exceed several days.

Also, the benefits and harms are determined by the fact that it does not pass, which kills the beneficial substances in the product. For example, one liter contains 40% of the daily requirement of vitamins for humans. From this point of view, the benefits of unprocessed beer are 10 times higher than the benefits of milk, which is positioned as a health drink.

The remains of brewer's yeast that are present in the foamy drink are a source of vital amino acids, the lack of which in the human body leads to a slowdown in metabolic processes. This can lead to clogging of blood vessels with cholesterol deposits and the formation of kidney stones. It follows from this that With regular consumption of such beer, the risk of myocardial infarction is reduced.

Enriches the drink with substances that improve appetite and activate digestion. At the same time, due to its dense consistency, unprocessed beer seems to envelop the walls of the stomach, which has a beneficial effect on a person’s condition with gastritis and ulcers.

Saturates the drink with substances that have a beneficial effect on the nervous system, help you relax and feel a sense of calm, and help normalize blood pressure. For this reason, it is recommended to drink this drink for people who suffer from hypertension.

Raw beer also contains microelements, without which the human body cannot function normally. Significant concentrations are typical for iron, potassium and calcium; in addition, copper, phosphorus and manganese are found. Of the complex substances, the drink contains thiamine, pantothenic acid and riboflavin - these substances regulate the functioning of the central nervous system.

Possible damage to health

When discussing the benefits, we must not forget about the harm. Negative Impact on the body due to the presence of alcohol. When abused, brain activity decreases, motor skills are impaired, and the liver is damaged. However, these disadvantages are typical for any alcoholic beverages.

Unfiltered beer has significant differences from filtered beer. “Live” beer that has not undergone filtration has advantages and disadvantages. It has special properties, taste and aroma, a lot of useful substances and vitamins. But if you abuse this drink, it becomes harmful to the body.

The harm and benefits of “live” beer

Drinking this drink in moderate doses can even improve your health. The first beneficial property is the ability to normalize blood pressure if you drink it in small portions after meals, avoiding extreme cold and sultry heat.

The second useful property of the drink is its ability to improve blood clotting. Unfiltered beer drink has a very strong diuretic effect, which forces the kidneys to actively perform their function. People with gastritis and ulcers can drink it in moderation.

The “live” drink contains potassium, phosphorus, copper, iron, and B vitamins. This product has a good effect on human skin and hair.

By drinking 1-2 glasses of this drink per week, you can notice an improvement in the color and structure of your skin, the amount of acne decreases, and your skin takes on a healthy appearance. If you need to take this drink internally to improve your skin, then to improve your hair structure it would be more useful to make a beer mask or simply rinse your hair.

Speaking about the benefits of unfiltered intoxicating drink, we must not forget about its harm to the human body. If abused, beer addiction develops, brain activity decreases and liver cells are destroyed.

Only if beer is consumed in small quantities it will not harm your health.

What is the difference between filtered beer and unfiltered beer?

The main difference between a “live” intoxicated drink and a filtered one is that filtered beer undergoes thorough three-fold filtration, during which yeast fungi, including useful components, are retained. In a live, unfiltered drink, yeast and other fermentation products remain, resulting in the formation of sediment in the glass, which cannot be said about filtered beer. It goes through two stages of filtration:

  • kieselguhr, produced using a special powder;
  • sterile, through a special filter cardboard.

The two types of beer differ in their appearance. The filtered drink has a golden and transparent shade of yellow, and the “live” drink has a cloudy consistency, also yellowish. Another difference between the two types of beer is their taste and shelf life. Stores most often purchase filtered beer in bottles, since such a drink has a shelf life of about 7–9 months. Unfiltered beer can be stored for several days, a maximum of a week.

Unfiltered beer, the benefits and harms of which are not yet known to all people, is produced in smaller volumes than ordinary filtered beer. But at the same time, the number of true, regular connoisseurs of this drink is constantly increasing every day. And there is nothing to be surprised here. After all, such a drink has a special taste and aroma, which cannot be said about ordinary store-bought drinks.

1

Regular filtered beer differs in many ways from live (unfiltered) beer. And you must know these differences in order to better understand the benefits and harms of this drink. Today, alcohol experts identify five main differences. Let's look at them in more detail.

First of all, you need to understand that live beer can only be stored for a few days, after which it becomes simply unfit for consumption. But filtered can be stored for months, which is why it is found on store shelves much more often.

Live unfiltered beer

But in Lately There has been a strong tendency to sell pasteurized beer in dark glass containers. But it is not alive, as many people believe. It just tastes very much like filtered drink, but at the same time it does not contain all the qualities of this drink. It is stored much longer than live food.

The second difference lies in the processing features. As a rule, a real live drink is not subjected to absolutely any processing, therefore it retains all the useful components in its composition. But the store-bought one undergoes at least filtration, preservation and pasteurization. All these processes remove beneficial components from the drink, and in some cases, chemical additives can also make it harmful to health.

The third difference is in taste, appearance and aroma. Unfiltered beer has sediment at the bottom and is darker and cloudier in color. But this is precisely what gives the drink a deeper taste and aroma. More often than not, it is a little stronger than the usual store-bought one.

The last difference is in the composition. Live beer constantly ferments, even when kept tightly closed. glass bottle. At the same time, it contains a lot of hops and beneficial bacteria. The filtered drink stops fermenting immediately after processing.

But true connoisseurs should know both the positive and negative sides of drinking live beer.

There are many myths about both beneficial properties and harmfulness. Let's look at all this in more detail.

2

The undeniable advantage of live beer is its ability to reduce the amount of bad cholesterol in the body. This is especially useful for middle-aged and elderly people, as well as for people prone to obesity. And if you drink this drink in moderation, you can even improve your figure a little and increase your activity.

Drinking the live drink in small quantities significantly reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Therefore, even many doctors recommend that patients with problems with the heart and vascular system drink unfiltered beer.

Qualities of unfiltered beer

And this is due to two main factors. The first is that beer can normalize blood pressure. But for this, it is recommended to drink it in small portions only after meals and try not to drink it in extreme cold or under the baking sun. It also significantly improves blood clotting. As a result, the walls of blood vessels are also strengthened.

Live beer has a very good effect on kidney function, as it has a pronounced diuretic effect. It makes the kidneys work more actively, but does not burden them, since it contains absolutely no poisons or toxins.

Live (unfiltered) beer has a great effect on the condition of the skin and hair. It has been noticed that if a person who suffers from rashes on the face drinks a glass of unfiltered beer at least once a week, very soon the number of acne on the face will decrease, the skin will become smoother and acquire a beautiful, healthy shade.

It also has a good effect on hair. When this drink is consumed internally, the hair gradually becomes shinier and smoother, as the bulbs are saturated from the inside with all the beneficial components. And if you also rinse your hair with such a drink, this will significantly enhance its effect.

It is also worth noting that live beer is rich in B vitamins, all kinds of elements such as iron, potassium, manganese, copper, phosphorus and calcium. This is why some people prefer to drink this drink instead of expensive vitamin complexes. After all, this way you can combine business with pleasure!

But we must not forget that even from unfiltered beer the benefits and harms can be equal. And this is especially important to know for people who like to drink alcoholic beverages often and in fairly large quantities. Let's take a closer look at what this could mean.

First of all, you need to remember that live beer is stronger, so it leads to intoxication much faster. But few people think about it. As a result, persistent alcohol dependence develops. After all, unfiltered beer contains ethyl alcohol, like other drinks.

It is dangerous to drink such beer frequently for people who suffer from liver diseases. This drink can gradually destroy its cells and also slow down brain activity. It can also lead to an enlarged tummy in men, as well as fat deposits on the abdomen and thighs in women. And the only way to avoid this is to observe moderation and not get too carried away with drinking such a drink. It is especially not recommended to drink it at night before bed.

So, the benefits and harms of live beer for a healthy person are incomparable. If you drink this drink correctly, and do it not so often, you can even improve your health. But you need to buy the drink only from trusted outlets to avoid counterfeiting.

Unfiltered (“live”) beer is loved by gourmets around the world. Experts say that this drink has a lot of useful properties and is almost completely devoid of the disadvantages of ordinary pasteurized beer: a vague average taste without a “zest”, a weak aroma and an almost complete absence of vitamins.

Short story

In fact, we should rather talk about the history of filtered beer - in the old days, all ales were unfiltered, since the technologies of filtration, separation and pasteurization, which will be discussed further, simply did not exist. The modern fashion for live beer is simply a return to basics.

The type of fermentation is very important. In the production of a foamy drink, two types of yeast are used: “top” and “bottom”. The latter love the cold and die at room temperature, but the former feel great even at 20-25 degrees Celsius, so traditionally real unfiltered beer is made from top-fermenting yeast (called “”). Before the invention of the refrigerator, it was very difficult to constantly maintain a temperature of 7-10°C comfortable for bottom-fermenting yeast; usually such beer (“”) was brewed only in winter. Lager's share of the world market is about 95%.

The benefits of unfiltered beer

The drink contains amino acids, B vitamins, enzymes, magnesium, calcium and other beneficial substances. In moderation, this beer is recommended for people with metabolic disorders, poor appetite, digestive system disorders, and weak bones and joints. Beer that has not undergone filtration and pasteurization has a beneficial effect on the kidneys, heart and nervous system.

Peculiarities of unfiltered beer production

Unfiltered beer is made in the same way as any other: from malted grain, yeast, hops, water and flavorings (depending on the recipe). The only difference in technology is that the drink is not subjected to thorough filtration and pasteurization, which “kill” and remove yeast, so the fermentation process does not stop even in bottles, and unfiltered beer can be stored for no more than two weeks.

Unfiltered beer has a limited shelf life

The most “living” beer, which has not even undergone basic filtration, can only be tasted at the factory; it does not go on sale. The result is a rather specific drink with a distinct yeasty taste, which is not commercially successful, so in most cases even unfiltered beer goes through a clarification process (by separation or light filtration).

Separation looks like this: the processed raw material (in our case, beer) is poured into a centrifuge and accelerated to a speed of several thousand revolutions per minute. Under the influence of centrifugal force, all large and solid particles remain on the walls, and the liquid itself is slightly purified. The effect of this process is approximately the same as that of pre-filtration.

Sometimes you come across unfiltered but pasteurized varieties on store shelves. Beer sommeliers claim that these drinks are completely devoid of all beneficial properties, and therefore cannot be called real live beer. Beer with preservatives has the same reputation, which remains fresh even after 20-30 days, but the taste is hopelessly spoiled.

Why is beer filtered?

A natural question arises: if unfiltered beer is so wonderful, why is filtration needed? It's simple - to increase shelf life. When produced in industrial volumes, products are not sold out on the first day: bottles, cans and barrels (kegs) lie in the warehouse for a couple of days, then are transported to retail outlets throughout the country and exported abroad. At the same time, the beer should remain as fresh as on the day of bottling, and if fermentation has been going on in the container all this time, the buyer will receive a sour mash, and not an invigorating and healthy drink.

Types and manufacturers

Unfiltered wheat beer is especially popular - it is soft enough to smooth out the harsh taste of yeast sediment, and has a pleasant taste and aroma. Some doctors and sports trainers even recommend drinking this drink after intense workouts to replenish fluid loss and quickly restore strength due to the carbohydrates contained in beer.

Wheat beer appeared no later than two thousand years ago (and most likely earlier), but was always inferior in popularity to its dark barley counterpart. Firstly, because of the low strength, and secondly, in the hungry years it was a pity to transfer good white grain to alcohol instead of bread. Baron Hans Degenberg is considered the “father” of wheat brewing, who in the mid-16th century was the first to receive a patent for the exclusive right to produce this particular light variety.

Unfiltered wheat beer always has a white tint, other varieties can have any color

German, Belgian and Dutch brewers have achieved particular success in the production of unfiltered wheat beer. The best brands are Erdinger, Franziskaner, Paulaner, Hoegaarden. Some of these manufacturers use special proprietary technologies - for example, adding an additional portion of yeast to already bottled beer to obtain the so-called two-stage fermentation. Another technique involves brewing beer from unsprouted wheat, while the proportion of additives (barley and oats) can reach 55% or even more.

In Russia, the term “unfiltered” can be found on the products of many manufacturers, from Baltika to Ochakovo, but these brands can hardly be considered worthy representatives of the “living” class. If you definitely want to try domestic examples, it is better to find a home brewery or craft production - let us remind you that unfiltered beer is practically not produced on an industrial scale, because it has a short shelf life.

How to drink unfiltered beer

Unfiltered beer is poured into tall transparent glasses, trying not to provoke too active foaming. The yeast sediment is not poured out, but on the contrary, it is carefully added to the glass - without it the taste will not be the same. Serving temperature – 5-12°C (it is recommended to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations).

The best snack for unfiltered beer

Gourmets claim that light, unfiltered varieties have subtle notes of lime, citrus, even black currants and freshly cut grass, which is why lighter snacks are required - for example, cold cuts, croutons with cheese.

The history of such a drink as beer has its roots in the distant past, it was drunk in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, not a single holiday in the Mediterranean countries was complete without this foamy drink, and later, the peoples of Europe became addicted to it.

The benefits and harms of beer for men and women are a cause for debate, both in ancient times and now. This drink has as many opponents as fans. Let's learn more about the properties and composition of beer, as well as its positive and negative sides.

Useful properties of beer

Whatever the ardent enemies of the foamy drink say, one cannot ignore such beneficial properties of beer as:

  • a large amount of potassium in the composition, which, combined with a low sodium content, makes beer useful for those who need to minimize salt intake, for example, hypertensive patients;
  • the fermentation products and carbon dioxide present in beer promote circulation and blood flow to the kidneys, liver, lungs, in addition, they also stimulate the production of gastric secretions;
  • Hops, which is included in all types of natural drinks, has an antimicrobial effect and calms the nervous system.

It should be noted that natural beer drinks contain the following beneficial microelements in different proportions (depending on the variety):

  1. iron;
  2. copper;
  3. silicon;
  4. phosphorus;
  5. magnesium.

Of course, when discussing the beneficial properties of this ancient intoxicating drink, we can only talk about natural beer brewed from real malt and hops, and not prepared from chemical concentrates identical to them in taste.

Natural beer is a perishable product and cannot contain third-party substances, such as preservatives, or be pasteurized. Fans of bottled foamy drinks need to remember that the maximum shelf life of real beer is three days; on the fourth day, sediment will inevitably form in the bottle. This is a good test for a product that claims to be a natural, living beer.

Unfortunately, the products that are now presented in a wide variety on supermarket shelves have nothing to do with real beer; you just need to carefully study what is written on the labels. When choosing a drink, you should pay attention to such points as:

  • best before date;
  • the presence of additives that regulate taste;
  • preservatives;
  • extracts identical to natural ones;
  • stabilizers;
  • malt or hop substitutes;
  • enzyme components.

All such components, even if they are added to normally brewed beer, inhibit the fermentation process, yeast growth, break down sugars and lead to a low content of starchy substances. That is, even in the most beautiful and expensive bottle there will be a drink that gives only an idea of the taste of beer, and nothing more.

What are the benefits of beer for the health of the body?

Paradoxically, any woman can tell you about the benefits of beer. Based on this drink, you can make excellent skin and hair care products, and not only at home. Cosmetology concerns have long and successfully produced various lotions, masks, shampoos, creams, gels and soaps based on beer.

Also, one cannot discount the results of studies conducted in a number of European institutes, which indicate the following positive properties of a natural drink:

  • beer promotes the tone and health of the kidneys, removing up to 60% of sand and up to 40% of stones from them;
  • the drink improves intestinal activity, preventing constipation;
  • fermented components of beer reduce cholesterol levels in the body;
  • beer of dark, dense varieties, preserves the strength of bones, thanks to the silicon it contains;
  • beer, especially unfiltered beer, prevents the formation of blood clots, being a good prevention of varicose veins and thrombosis;
  • inhibits the growth of cancer cells due to the polyphenols and carotenoids it contains;
  • beer, thanks to the fermented yeast it contains, stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin;
  • The foamy drink, especially dense varieties similar to ale, has a pronounced anti-dyspeptic effect, due to which it inhibits intestinal bacteria, that is, in essence, it prevents diarrhea and other intestinal disorders.

Studies of the effect of beer on the human body, its relationship with the functioning of organs and the therapeutic effect for any diseases were carried out in Finland, Great Britain, and the USA.

In 1999, the Texas Medical Research Center published the results of ten years of work on heart disease. It states that systematic consumption of beer reduces the development of arrhythmia, heart failure and thrombosis by 45%.

Of course, we were talking about real beer varieties, without preservatives or other additives. In addition, the volume of beer consumed during testing ranged from 0.4 to 1.8 liters per day.

Interesting fact: warm beer is extremely effective for loss of voice, hoarse throat and other disorders associated with the vocal cords. Many artists whose work involves voice use various recipes based on a heated intoxicating drink. For example, Lemeshev used the following combination before concerts - half a glass of beer, a tablespoon of honey, two raw egg yolks. All components were mixed and heated until the egg began to curl. The artist drank the mixture in one gulp before going on stage.

The benefits and harms of unfiltered beer

Unfiltered beer in last years becomes more popular than usual. Many people naively believe that the absence of filtration guarantees that the drink is “alive” and natural. However, this is not always the case. When buying unfiltered beer, you need to study the product label just as carefully as when buying regular beer.

The benefits and harms of unfiltered beer for the body are basically no different from the effects of a regular foamy drink, but there are some peculiarities. Unfiltered beer additionally exhibits the following properties:

  1. normalizes blood pressure;
  2. improves blood clotting;
  3. has very strong diuretic properties;
  4. affects hair follicles, promoting hair growth and quality;
  5. eliminates excessive dryness of the skin.

The unfiltered version of the drink contains much more B vitamins and a higher manganese content. But its shelf life is even lower than that of regular beer; on average, it is a couple of days after the drink is brewed. Of course, if we consider only natural beer, without any additives.

The harm from unfiltered varieties mainly lies in the fact that they become addictive much faster than filtered ones and develop with excessive libations. In addition, unfiltered beer is contraindicated for liver diseases, since this type of drink inhibits its activity, however, this is why such beer causes faster and more severe intoxication.

An unfiltered drink helps increase body fat. Figuratively speaking, due to very high yeast activity, it builds up a layer of fat in the body, causes extra pounds and, if consumed in excess, leads to obesity. And, of course, you should not drink unfiltered beer before bed, due to its strong diuretic properties.

The benefits and harms of non-alcoholic beer

Discussions centered on the benefits and harms of non-alcoholic beer have not subsided since the appearance of this product on the shelves. Among the ardent opponents of this drink, there are many caustic jokes that non-alcoholic beer is the first step to rubber women. Is it so?

In fact, this type of beer still contains alcohol, it’s just much less. Each mug of non-alcoholic beer contains from 0.5% to 1.5% alcohol, which is ten times less than, for example, kvass. This effect is achieved exclusively in factory conditions, by suppressing the fermentation process and double filtration of the drink. This combination is called dealcoholization. That is, initially beer is brewed in the usual way, and then they begin to “drive” the alcohol out of it. It is worth noting that this process does not particularly affect the taste of the drink.

Speaking about the benefits of non-alcoholic beer, it is worth noting that it has much fewer positive properties than a regular drink. But some advantages of beer without alcohol are worth noting. This:

  • lower calorie content compared to regular beer;
  • the possibility of consumption by persons driving and those for whom alcohol is contraindicated;
  • absence of a hangover and other unpleasant consequences in the event of a prolonged feast.

Also, when choosing non-alcoholic beer, you should study the composition of the product. Since this type can be made from both natural beer and artificial ingredients, identical in taste to natural ones.

The harm of non-alcoholic beer consists of the following main points:

  • Excessive and constant use of this product leads to passive alcoholism, according to statistics accumulated by narcologists.
  • Strong influence on hormonal levels in men. It turns out that non-alcoholic beer has a high estrogen content and with many years of drinking the drink, the female hormone can displace testosterone and turn the figure into a female type (protruding tummy, wide pelvis, narrow shoulders) and to top it off, it will also reduce potency (Get to know an excellent drug without side effects) ;
  • The cobalt content in non-alcoholic beer has a detrimental effect on the functions of the liver, pancreas and heart.

Important: pregnant women should not drink non-alcoholic beer, even in minimal quantities. The cobalt contained in this drink negatively affects the growth of the fetus, causing deviations in the formation of the nervous system and brain.

The benefits and harms of beer for the body of men and women

If we divide humanity by gender, then the benefits and harms of beer for the body of men and women will certainly be different. However, the main factors, such as the impact on health, remain general and unchanged.

For women, beer will benefit the following:

  • normalization of the activity of fatty glands in the epidermis, that is, beer is a good prevention of acne, enlarged pores and oily skin;
  • maintaining the body’s production of its own collagen, respectively, guaranteeing skin elasticity, a clear chin contour and a good complexion;
  • beer is very friendly with hair, more precisely with hair follicles, making growing hair beautiful, shiny and strong;
  • in moderation, beer increases sexual desire;
  • prevents constipation and effectively cleanses the large intestine of feces.

Among the disadvantages that indicate that this drink is not in favor of women specifically, it is worth highlighting:

  1. systematic consumption of beer makes pregnancy more difficult;
  2. over time, beer will inevitably form a dense layer of fat in the lower abdomen and significantly “weight” the thighs;
  3. excessive abuse of beer quickly leads to alcoholism;
  4. beer can provoke hormonal imbalances in women;
  5. love for a foamy drink causes the active growth of “excess” hair in the bikini area, armpits and above the upper lip.

As for men, among the obvious advantages of beer, it is worth noting for them:

  • significant reduction in the risk of Alzheimer's disease (according to statistics from German medical studies);
  • significant reduction in susceptibility to stress;
  • lack of insomnia;
  • low chances of going bald;
  • good appetite, since beer for men is a stimulant for the secretion of gastric juice;
  • reduction of aggression and irritability.

Among the harm that beer will cause to a man are:

  1. hormonal replacement of testosterone with estrogen, that is, a preponderance of hormonal levels in the female side, respectively, the likelihood of infertility, external changes in posture and figure;
  2. unhealthy “pacifism”, lack of career aspirations, lack of competitive spirit;
  3. obesity;
  4. slow thinking.

Of course, we are talking about daily and significant consumption of beer. A mug of porter every couple of days will not turn a man into an effeminate wimp, and a glass of sparkling light beer with a lush head of foam will not lead a woman to obesity.

Calorie content

The issue of calories today interests both men and women. Many follow a diet based on counting calories and look for them in absolutely everything, be it a salad, a glass of liqueur, or a glass of beer. Perhaps nutritionists are solely to blame for this, or maybe people have simply become more attentive to their own body and health and therefore carefully monitor the amount of calories entering the body.

The excessive calorie content of a drink like beer is a myth. On average, the calorie content of beer per 100 grams ranges from 23-53 calories, which is comparable to 50 grams of good creamy ice cream. Of course, the energy value of a drink largely depends on its variety.

The calorie content of light beer with an alcohol content of 4.5% will have 45 kcal per 100 ml of drink and the following indicators of ingredients:

  • 0.6 g proteins;
  • no fat;
  • 3.8-3.9 g carbohydrates.

Based on this, it becomes clear that from the point of view of combating excess weight, beer is contraindicated only for those who use low-carbohydrate diets.

The calorie content of dark beer, like other indicators, is slightly higher. In 100 ml of drink a person expects 48-53 kcal, as well as:

  • 0.3 g proteins;
  • no fat;
  • 5.7-6 g carbohydrates.

The calorie content of unfiltered beer will be only 40 calories per 100 ml of drink without fat.

Non-alcoholic beer is the leader in terms of low calorie content. The calorie content of non-alcoholic beer and other indicators per 100 ml of drink look like this:

  • 22-26 kcal;
  • lack of proteins;
  • no fat;
  • 4.6-5 g carbohydrates.

Based on these data, we can safely say that the calorie content of beer is low and, with moderate consumption, will in no way harm a slim figure.

To drink beer or not to drink is a matter of taste and personal preference of each person. However, it is worth paying attention to the composition of what is offered for consumption and not drinking too much. Then the oldest drink, known to the first pyramid builders, will bring only benefits and a good mood.
