Method 1

Method 2

There are many illegal SNILS databases on the Internet. But since this information is confidential, it means their operation is illegal, and therefore they are all one-day companies whose portals are periodically blocked. The data they have is most often obtained as a result of hacker attacks. It is not recommended to use their services because:

• SNILS data may be unreliable;
• Often such portals are created with the purpose of “collecting” users’ personal data in order to use them in the future without the latter’s consent.

Is the personal identification number of an individual useful?

But if the company has a large staff and the HR department doesn’t know you, then they may not give you a photocopy by name - they will require you to confirm your identity with a passport.

Only persons who own SNILS can obtain this information from the Pension Fund or the HR department. Third parties do not have access to such information.

But there are situations when the owner of SNILS cannot personally contact the competent authorities, but is interested in having someone do it for him. In this case, you will need to choose a trusted person and issue a power of attorney for him with a notary. This is the only possible case when information on SNILS will be provided not to its owner, but to a stranger.

Example 1. Kuzmenko G. joined the army. There he needed SNILS. He asked his sister to find the card and give him the information on it. However, the SNILS number of the serviceman was not found at home. The sister contacted the nearest Pension Fund office, but they refused to provide her with information. The only way out was to restore SNILS, which cannot be done without a power of attorney in the name of the sister. Kuzmenko G. wrote a power of attorney in the unit’s location, and his commander certified it with his signature, which is equivalent to notarization. The soldier sent a power of attorney by registered mail, after which the sister was able to submit documents on his behalf, and after 2 weeks, receive a duplicate SNILS.

How to find out your personal account number after changing your last name

The account number in the pension insurance system will remain the same, even if your personal data changes. Although the number will continue to be valid, the certificate itself will become invalid. It will need to be replaced.
